U.S. Marine Corps Pfc. John LeGault, a small arms repairer with Battalion Landing Team 1/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), sets security during a live fire raid as part of MEU EX II on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Feb. 3, 2023. The raid was the culminating event for MEU EX II, following Amphibious Squadron/MEU Integration training. The raid integrated multiple elements of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force with live-fire events and showcased the MEU’s ability to execute a beach landing from ship-to-shore off the coast utilizing amphibious craft.
