Brig. Gen. Dean Milner, deputy commanding general (Canada), III Corps and Fort Hood and Command Sgt. Maj. Scott Schroeder (with football), III Corps and Fort Hood, are ready to use the new Hood Stadium football field following the formal opening ceremony Oct. 19. Milner and Schroeder were two of the senior Fort Hood officers and sergeants major to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new, nearly $14 million complex. The stadium holds up to 5,500 people and will host numerous sporting and entertainment events.
