FORT BRAGG, N.C. (Feb. 16, 2023) – Captain Kimberly Toone, commanding officer Navy Medicine Operational Training Command (NMOTC), is given a walkthrough of the facilities, medical devices and procedures used to train service members at the Naval Special Operations Medical Institute (NSOMI) during a visit to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Feb. 16, 2023. NSOMI, a detachment of NMOTC, specializes in training the enlisted service members and medical providers who support US special operations. Navy Medicine Operational Training Command (NMOTC) is comprised of six nationwide detachments that offer specialized medical training in the fields of aviation, aviation survival, surface and undersea warfare, expeditionary and special operations medicine.
