A U.S. Marine Corps crew chief with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 162 (Reinforced), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), watches over a pallet being flown through the “hell hole” during external lift training part of MEU Exercise III on Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field Bogue, Mar. 11, 2023. During the lift, Marines prepared supplies and vehicles to be extracted by aircraft in a simulated expeditionary environment as well as sharpening integration between the logistics and air combat elements of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force.
