U.S. Marine Corps landing support specialists with Combat Logistics Battalion 22, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), prepare to hook a Joint Light Tactical Vehicle to a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 162 (Reinforced), during an external lift exercise part of MEU Exercise III on Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field Bogue, Mar. 11, 2023. During the lift, Marines prepared supplies and vehicles to be extracted by aircraft in a simulated expeditionary environment as well as sharpening integration between the logistics and air combat elements of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force.
