U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Molly Lewis, an airborne and air delivery specialist with the Maritime Special Purpose Force, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), helps a Marine fit a parachute prior to conducting a reconnaissance and surveillance insert during Amphibious Ready Group/MEU Exercise (ARGMEUEX) aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), Atlantic Ocean, April 21, 2023. The insert was part of a training scenario testing the MEU’s ability to develop plans using the rapid response planning process to execute complex missions in a contested environment.
