An MV-22 Osprey assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit takes off from the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) during a reconnaissance and surveillance insert during Amphibious Ready Group/MEU Exercise (ARGMEUEX), Atlantic Ocean, April 21, 2023. The insert was part of a training scenario testing the MEU’s ability to develop plans using the rapid response planning process to execute complex missions in a contested environment.
