An Assault Breacher Vehicle detonates a mine clearing line charge (MICLIC) in order to breach a simulated minefield during Hammer Strike, a brigade exercise conducted by the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division at the Udairi Range Complex near Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Wednesday. The ABV is the brigade’s newest vehicle that can breach obstacles faster and safer than previous tactics. The unit’s operations in Kuwait are in accordance with the longstanding bilateral defense cooperation between the U.S. and Kuwait.
