Heavy Equipment Operator 2nd Class Michael McAfee, assigned to Navy Mobile Construction Battalion (NCMB 23), embarked aboard High Speed Vessel (HSV 2) Swift and a Peruvian navy engineer, mark a section of wall with chalk, at a local school in Loza De Acapulco. NMCB 23 and Peruvian navy engineers from Base Naval De Callo are working together at the school as part of a community service project. NMCB 23 is supporting Southern Partnership Station 2012, an annual deployment of U.S naval assets in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
