U.S. Navy Seabees, assigned to Navy Mobile Construction Battalion (NCMB 23), embarked aboard High Speed Vessel (HSV 2) Swift, along with Peruvian navy engineers from Base Naval De Callao, construct a center-beam that will be used on a new roof at a local school in Loza De Acapulco. NMCB 23 and Peruvian navy engineers are working together at the school as part of a community service project. NMCB 23 is supporting Southern Partnership Station 2012, an annual deployment of U.S naval assets in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
