U.S. Marines with Marine Air Support Squadron 3, Marine Control Group 38, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, operate the Multifunction Air Operations Center during Northern Edge 23-1 at the Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex in Alaska on May 9, 2023. NE 23-1 is the first in a series of 2023 exercises where 3d Marine Aircraft Wing will demonstrate the operational reach of I Marine Expeditionary Force, while providing speed, depth, and agility to the Marine Air Ground Task Force, Joint Force, and Allies and partners. U.S. Indo-Pacific Command is increasing the number of experiments in our joint exercise program to rigorously test innovative ideas and concepts key to identifying and integrating the best technology industry offers.
