NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO (June 2, 2023) Capt. Brian Quin is piped ashore during a change of command and retirement ceremony aboard amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4). Capt. James Harney relieved Quin as commodore of Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) 5 during the ceremony. PHIBRON 5 prepares for and directs expeditionary warfare missions in support of national objectives by employing the combat power of amphibious ships and the Marine Corps in the maritime, littoral and inland environments.
