SAN DIEGO (June 2, 2023) Cmdr. Ferguson Harris, a Navy chaplain, delivers the benediction during a change of command ceremony aboard amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4). Capt. James Harney relieved Capt. Brian Quin as commodore of Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) 5 during the ceremony. PHIBRON 5 prepares for and directs expeditionary warfare missions in support of national objectives by employing the combat power of amphibious ships and the Marine Corps in the maritime, littoral and inland environments.
