Lt. Gen. Xavier T. Brunson, commanding general of America’s First Corps and the senior most Knowlton award holder on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, awarded 15 Soldiers and two civilians with Military Intelligence Corps Association awards to include the Golden Rose and the Knowlton award to recognize their outstanding achievements within the military intelligence community, May 23.
“Military Intelligence stands as the lifeblood of any successful military operation,” said Brunson. “It is the bedrock upon which our strategic, operational, and tactical decisions are built.”
