USAID is committed to supporting a democratically elected, unified government in Libya. USAID Counselor Clinton White, Acting Assistant Administrator Andrew Plitt , Chief Digital Democracy and Rights Officer Vera Zakem, and Country Representative John Cardenas met with Dr. Emad As Sayeh, Chairman of the High National Elections Commission, to discuss the importance of timely, credible and transparent elections to Libya’s democratic transition.
