Members of the Young Presidents’ Organization and the World Presidents’ Organization tour the Infantry Immersion Trainer with Robert Thielen, the IIT site manager, at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Nov. 16, 2012. The YPO and WPO members visited Camp Pendleton to learn how Marines train and to help create a bridge between the private sector and military. The IIT is a state-of-the-art training complex that immerses deploying service members into a life-like combat situation with role-players, explosions and simulated injuries. The YPO and WPO are international associations of business leaders with over 20,000 members in 120 countries.
