1-134th Cavalry Squadron conducts a Spur Ride in South Korea

With encouragement from the obstacle’s Spur Master, a Soldier moves quickly underneath the Belly Crawl obstacle during the 1-134th Cavalry Squadron’s Spur Ride, on June 17, 2019, at the Camp Hovey obstacle course during the Squadron’s annual training, Operation Kouma.

The Nebraska Army National Guard's 1-134th Cavalry Squadron is conducting 27 days of training in South Korea to practice their skills in mortars, sniper rifles, convoy operations and squad lanes. The training that these roughly 300 Soldiers will receive is vital to the Squadron’s overall readiness. The last time the Squadron conducted overseas training was 2013 in Germany.
