Soldiers are instructed to lift their equipment high so it can be seen by the Spur Master at the Rodriguez Live Fire Complex during the 1-134th Cavalry Squadron’s Spur Ride, on June 17, 2019, as part of their annual training, Operation Kouma, in South Korea.
The Nebraska Army National Guard's 1-134th Cavalry Squadron is conducting 27 days of training in South Korea to practice their skills in mortars, sniper rifles, convoy operations and squad lanes. The training that these roughly 300 Soldiers will receive is vital to the Squadron’s overall readiness. The last time the Squadron conducted overseas training was 2013 in Germany.
