USAID supported Biz Greentex, a woman (and sister) owned company in El Alia, Bizerte that promotes sustainable textile waste management in Tunisia. Biz Greentext collects, sorts, and recycles textile waste, converting 75 tons of waste from Tunisian companies and clinics into reusable yarn and fabric each month.

Through USAID Tunisia JOBS, Biz Greentex was able to purchase new equipment, such as a forklift, to increase its productivity and efficiency. The grant also enabled Biz Greentex to create 20 new jobs, mostly for women.
