Roxworthy of Springfield, Illinois, assumed command of the Chicago-based 108th Sustainment Brigade from Col. Tim Newman of Fisher, Illinois, the day after her parents celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. Maj. Gen. Rodney Boyd, the Assistant Adjutant General - Army of the Illinois National Guard and Commander of the Illinois Army National Guard presided over the Change of Command ceremony, held on Sunday, July 16, at the brigade's headquarters next to Humboldt Park in Chicago.
