U.S. Navy Sailors operating the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Yukon (T-AO 202) send cargo across a line during a replenishment at sea with service members aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA-6), in the Coral Sea, July 18, 2023. A RAS provides food, fuel, supplies, and mail to sustain maritime operations between sailors aboard the USS America and Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the America Expeditionary Strike Group in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
