Natasha Dickenson, a marine scientist with the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport’s Environmental Branch, who served as the lead for a coral mitigation project at the Atlantic Undersea and Test Evaluation Center (AUTEC) in the Bahamas, handles coral prior to its translocation in April 2022. Divers and scientists from Division Newport collaborated with the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific Littoral Dive Unit, NIWC Pacific Scientific divers, and AUTEC staff to complete the project.
