Army 1st Lt. Colin Morris affixes the Purple Heart medal on Sgt. 1st Class Robert Mintz in a ceremony in Tampa, Fla., on Dec. 1. Mintz received his award for injuries sustained in Tikrit, Iraq while deployed there with the 320th Military Police Company from St. Petersburg, Fla. Mintz was in the lead vehicle in a convoy wehn it was hit by an improvised explosive device.
