Dominic Berardi of the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 115th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, Alabama National Guard, drags 90-pounds of weight for the sprint-drag-carry event during the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) at Exercise Northern Strike 2023 on Camp Grayling, Michigan, Aug. 7, 2023. The ACFT consists of six different events designed to assess a Soldier’s overall fitness; the sprint-drag-carry specifically measures a Soldier’s ability to sustain moderate to high intensity muscular work over a short duration.
