Soldiers competing in the U.S. Army Forces Command Best Squad Competition 2023 arrive at a training area to begin their medical simulation, Aug. 15, 2023, on Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The medical simulation, which took place at the Fort Campbell Medical Simulation Training Center, assessed competitors on battlefield trauma and critical care techniques. The week-long competition assesses each squad on their technical and tactical proficiency, as well as their ability to work as a disciplined and cohesive team.
