Soldiers from Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC), U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz, conducted the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) using the recently upgraded Functional Fitness Training Center (FFTC) on Rhine Ordnance Barracks (ROB) Aug. 9.
Sgt. 1st Class Joel Torres, Religious Support Specialist for HHC, USAG Rheinland-Pfalz, performs the sprint portion of the Sprint-Drag-Carry (SDC). The SDC assesses the muscular endurance, muscular strength, anaerobic power and anaerobic endurance components of fitness by measuring a Soldier’s ability to sustain moderate to high intensity muscular work over a short duration.
