A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 36th Fighter Squadron prepares for departure to Malaysia in support of Cope Taufan 23 at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Sept. 18, 2023. During the exercise, U.S. service members teamed up with the Royal Malaysian Air Force to demonstrate the U.S. capability to project forces strategically while emphasizing interoperability, security cooperation and capacity building with a partner nation.
