Retired U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Ian Prescott and his family occupy their forever home provided by the Gary Sinise Foundation on Sept. 20, 2023, during a ceremony in Crestview, Florida. Prescott arrived at the ceremony honoring his family and their new forever home. The Gary Sinise Foundation built a custom-designed smart home with wheelchair-accessible areas, enabling Prescott more freedom of movement, improving his quality of life, and increasing his independence.
