A 35th Civil Engineer Squadron electrical power production technician performs maintenance on a system during the construction of a mobile aircraft arresting system and mobile runway edge sheave on taxiway bravo at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Aug 18, 2023. This project will allow jets to be launched and recovered on the taxiway in case of an emergency, enabling Misawa to project a constant stream of combat air power in a contingency scenario.
