Lance Corporal Wesley Snyder, a communications technician serving with 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, rides his motorcycle through the parking lot after a safety and awareness rally here, Dec. 18, 2012. Snyder, a 25-year-old native of Lancaster, Calif., said the rally was a valuable because it was an open discussion that allowed Marines to voice their own opinions. During the event the Marines also met Jason Pridmore, a retired professional motorcyclist. The purpose of the rally was to ensure Marines are getting the most up-to-date information regarding motorcycle safety, and ensures they understand the risks associated with riding motorcycles.
