On July 5, USAID’s Power Tunisia program held its "Clean Energy Adoption for a Greener Private Sector'' workshop in Tunis. Ambassador Hood shared great news during the event regarding USAID's support for Tunisia's private sector. With grants, loans, and technical assistance, USAID plans to empower nearly 2,000 Tunisian companies and mobilize US $40 million in financing for clean energy investments in the country. This initiative aims to increase Tunisia's clean energy production capacity by 70 megawatts, fueling economic growth and paving the way for a greener and more sustainable future for all.
