    Joint Task Force Bravo

    U.S. Army Soldiers and U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to Joint Task Force-Bravo, Servicio Nacional Aeronaval (SENAN), Servicio Nacional de Fronteras (SENAFRONT), Sistema Nacional de Protección Civil (SINAPROC), and Bomberos de Panamá personnel pose for a group photo with a U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook September 20, 2023, at Base Aérea de Santiago, in Santiago, Panama. A quick reaction force of 26 U.S. Army Soldiers and U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 1-228 AVN, Army Forces Battalion, 612th Air Base Squadron and JTF-Bravo joint staff with specialties in aviation, avionics, fueling, clinical medicine, personnel recovery, public affairs, flight medicine, weather and aviation operations mobilized within an hour of tasking notification to assist Panamanian forces in the search and recovery of a crashed SENAN AW-139, call sign AN-141. Throughout the two-week operation, U.S. military personnel from Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, worked with SENAN, SENAFRONT, Bomberos de Panamá and SINAPROC to secure the remote crash site, recover the crew’s remains and extract the flight data recording device, or “black box.” (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech.
