    YOKOSUKA, Japan (August 22, 2023) – Chief Petty Officer (HMC) Alicia Murray, the Navy Medical Readiness Training Command (NMRTC) suicide prevention officer, delivers a reflection at Kosano Park following the "a Walk to Remember" event in commemoration of Suicide Prevention Month. "Today, we're promoting awareness of mental health and suicides.

    "We want to make sure everyone has the resources in order to help yourself or your fellow shipmates," said Murray. "We really don't want to have suicide as something as a taboo. We are here for them and there are people here that care."
