Charlotte Bart, one of the first females integrated into the Coast Guard, is honored at her 100th birthday party on Sept. 30, 2023, in Haddon Township, New Jersey. Ms. Bart served as a SPAR, a program that allowed women to serve at stations in the United States, which provided the opportunity for men to join ranks overseas during World War II.
