Dr. Kathleen Linderman, G6 (Information Technology) chief information officer, U.S. Army Sustainment Command, speaks with current ASSET intern Tim Hood. Linderman said she has seen firsthand the value of the ASSET program. ASSET is a newly developed and unique hiring strategy called Acquiring Skilled, Sustainable, Empowered Talent. It is a proactive rather than reactive hiring effort, bringing on entry level new employees and training them so they can readily step in when attrition takes place. (ASC Public Affairs)
