Lance Cpl. Reba K. James, a native of Pinon, Ariz., enlisted into the Marine Corps in May of 2012 and is in the Phoenix region temporarily assisting recruiters before she returns to her Marine occupational specialty training at the Defense Information School at Fort George G. Meade, Md. James is training to become a combat correspondent. "I remember her being in the delayed entry program when I first got here," said Maj. Steven M. Ford, commanding officer of R.S. Phoenix. "This doesn't happen often. I'm all about it."
