This #FortRileyFriday we're back on the old Artillery Post centered around Artillery Parade field.
Building 406 Pershing Court was built in 1909 out of native limestone. According to the Army Corps of Engineers, building 406 was built as an Artillery Bank Barracks. One of the smaller buildings that surround Artillery Parade Field, it was expanded with a one story wing on the south side nearly doubling the size of the first floor (date unknown.)
Most recently building 406 housed the 78th Military Police (MP) Detachment Criminal Investigation Division (CID) and the 6th MP Group CID before undergoing renovations.
