A U.S. Navy sailor provides an overview of the Patrol Craft Officer Riverine course to a Colombian marine corps delegation and U.S. Marines with Marine Forces South (MARFORSOUTH) during their visit to the Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School at the John C. Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, Nov. 15, 2023. PCO-R is an eight-week course of instruction designed to provide Foreign Security Force personnel with the specialized training necessary to effectively plan and safely execute patrol craft security actions supporting the interdiction of illicit contraband, counter-narcotic/counter-terrorism operations, and waterborne special operations in the riverine environment. NAVSCIATTS is a security cooperation schoolhouse operating under U.S. Special Operations Command in support of foreign security assistance and geographic combatant commanders’ theater security cooperation priorities.
