Soldiers from the 4th Quartermaster Detachment, assembles a newly-arrived parachute on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Jan. 15. They ensure there are no rips of faulty attachments present while they assemble the parachute. Every 12 years, parachutes are no longer serviceable and are replaced with up-to-date materials.
