ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Nov. 28, 2023) - Naval Ordnance Test Unit Associate Chief Engineer Leslie Amodeo (far right) programs and operates a Sphero BOLT Coding Robot during a U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) during a computational thinking seminar at the USNA Tuesday, November 28. Nested under Strategic Systems Programs Strategic Weapons Facility-Atlantic and NOTU employees attended the day-long workshop--hosted by USNA's STEM Center for Education and Outreach and sponsored by the DoD and the Office of Naval Research--to learn about new and successful tactics, curriculum, and methods for STEM outreach at schools in local communities across the nation.
