(Nov. 28, 2023) - Naval Ordnance Test Unit (NOTU) Associate Chief Engineer Leslie Amodeo (left) and Strategic Weapons Facility-Atlantic (SWFLANT) Process Improvement Coordinator Caren Spahr (right) participate in a buoyancy test during the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) workshop Tuesday, November 28. Nested under Strategic Systems Programs, STEM leads from SWFLANT and NOTU attended the day-long workshop--hosted by USNA's STEM Center for Education and Outreach and sponsored by the DoD and the Office of Naval Research--to learn about new and successful tactics, curriculum, and methods for STEM outreach at schools in local communities across the nation.
