230323-N-NT811-1011 Pacific Ocean - (March 23, 2023) –Ens. Erin Ogden manually keeps track nearby ships by updating a maneuvering board chart on the bridge of the guided missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104). Sterett was part of a line of ships simulating a straits transfer while operating in the 3rd Fleet area of operations and participating in surface warfare advanced tactical training (SWATT).
SWATT is the Navy’s premier advanced tactical training for the surface fleet to ensure units are competent, proficient and across all warfighting domains.
