U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Morgan Poland, a flute instrumentalist, Marine Forces Reserve Band, speaks with Ambassador Bonnie D. Jenkins, Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, at Marine Corps Support Facility, New Orleans, Louisiana, Jan. 22, 2024. During her visit, Jenkins spoke with Marines to gain a better understanding of the MARFORRES and Marine Forces South missions. MARFORSOUTH works closely with the U.S. Department of State to increase cooperation with allies and partners in Central and South America and the Caribbean.
