Ambassador Bonnie D. Jenkins, Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, speaks to members of the Marine Forces Reserve Band at Marine Corps Support Facility, New Orleans, Louisiana, Jan. 22, 2024. During her visit, Jenkins spoke with Marines to gain a better understanding of the Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces South missions. MARFORSOUTH works closely with the U.S. Department of State to increase cooperation with allies and partners in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
