U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District employees look up from inside the fish ladder at Lower Monumental Dam. The Walla Walla District employees work on removing debris in the fish ladders at Lower Monumental Lock and Dam during the winter, when salmon are not migrating. This work occurs every year and is an important part of maintaining fishways.
