U.S. Army Maj. Craig Calkins, a veterinarian doctor assigned to the Vicenza Veterinary Treatment Facility at U.S. Army Health Clinic Vicenza, receives a SETAF-AF coin from U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Todd R. Wasmund, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) commanding general, at Caserma Ederle, Vicenza, Italy, Feb. 2nd, 2024. Calkins was chosen by his peers as one of the most deserving of a SETAF-AF coin in the veterinary facility as Wasmund showed his appreciation for the members of U.S. Army Health Clinic Vicenza. SETAF-AF provides U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Army Europe and Africa a dedicated headquarters to synchronize U.S. Army activities in Africa and scalable crisis response options in Africa and Europe.
