KEKAHA, Hawai‘i (Feb. 5, 2024) Thomas Nizo, deputy public works officer and cultural protocol officer at Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF), gives a history and background of the Lua Kupapau O Nohili Crypt, during a visit from Kauai Mayor Derek Kawakami and delegation, PMRF, Barking Sands, Kekaha, Hawaii. During the tour, members of PMRF showed the visitors multiple locations on the installation and talked about PMRF’s cultural, environmental and community impact on Kauai. PMRF is the world's largest instrumented multi-domain range, capable of supporting surface, subsurface, air, and space operations simultaneously.
