240209-N-ML137-1083 YAP, Federated States of Micronesia (Feb. 9, 2024) U.S. Navy seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4 and Alex Gilfiley, director of the Yap Department of Youth and Civics Affairs offload school books from a KC-130 Hercules, attached to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 153 (VMGR-153), at Yap International Airport, Feb. 9. Joint Region Marianas coordinated the delivery of school books, which were donated through Pedro C. Lujan Elementary School via the Ayuda Foundation. The 30th Naval Construction Regiment, Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25, 734th Air Mobility Squadron, VMGR-153, NMCB 4, Yap State Department of Education, Yap State Department of Youth and Civic Affairs, and U.S. Army Pacific's Federated States of Micronesia Oceania Engagement Team supported the effort.
