240209-N-ML137-1094 YAP, Federated States of Micronesia (Feb. 9, 2024) U.S. Marine Capt. Evan Phillips, a pilot assigned to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 153 (VMGR-153), and Equipment Operator 2nd Class Noah Patriquin, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, offload school books from a KC-130 Hercules attached to VMGR-153 at Yap International Airport, Feb. 9. Joint Region Marianas coordinated the delivery of school books, which were donated through Pedro C. Lujan Elementary School via the Ayuda Foundation. The 30th Naval Construction Regiment, Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25, 734th Air Mobility Squadron, VMGR-153, NMCB 4, Yap State Department of Education, Yap State Department of Youth and Civic Affairs, and U.S. Army Pacific's Federated States of Micronesia Oceania Engagement Team supported the effort.
