The gym’s extension comes with new equipment and an enhanced facility for allies and partners to use. The ability to host forces is a part of NATO agreement to stay functional and enable following forces to continue training for the NATO exercise Nordic Response 24. Nordic Response is a Norwegian national readiness and defense exercise designed to enhance military capabilities and allied cooperation in high-intensity warfighting in a challenging arctic environment.
